This guide will basically help you to manage your own “Lord Knight” when in pvp(Player versus Player) or in WOE(War of Emperium). The Lord Knight character in Ragnarok was built for tanking for as we know that we LKs have the highest HP in-game. Lord Knight is the most unique class in RO. Well i can say that it is nice that you have chosen “Lord Knight” as your character in Ragnarok.

I. PROS AND CONS
PROS
Flexible - Lord Knights are the most flexible class in Ragnarok. They can almost do solo in everything. Like Boss-Hunting, PvPing, Lvling , etc. . They have the ability to do anything.
Attack Speed - Lord Knights can achieve 190 aspd easily.
CONS
Gear Dependent - Lord Knights are the most gear dependant character in RO. Once you’re stripped or when your gears got damaged, they can be taken down easily. Not a major con. There are some ways to counter strip and armor damage though and will be later discussed in PVP TACT.

TWO-HAND PARRY BUILD
This build focuses mainly on LK’s Two-Hand Quicken, Parry and Berserk Skill.

Lower Headgear - Gentleman’s Pipe, Spiked Scarf
Armor - Full Plate, Meteo Fp, Upgraded Armor
Weapon - Katana(Triple Bloody Boned), Assaulter Katz, Executioner (Hydra|Sword Guardian)
Garment - Valkyrie Manteau, Diablous Manteau, Pauldron (Raydric|Deviling)
Shoes - Greeves, Shackles w/ Shackle Ball(Green Ferus|Matyr). Firelock Soldier Card if upgraded more than +8.
Accessories - Medal of Honor, Glorius Ring, Upgrade Clip (Smokie, Horong)
Stats Explanation: This build focuses on your dps(Damage per second) which means, it do massive damage in a short period of time. Str is needed for your ATK which is your main damage. Vit is mainly for HP and status resistance as its credits. Agi and Dex for your main skill “Bowling Bash”. So you can spam Bowling Bash to achieve high DPS and to have high accuracy.
ONE HAND SPEAR
This build focuses on your LK’s versatility in PvP/WOE. While giving enough damage.

Stats Explanation : The spiral build focuses mainly on tanking while being offensive at the same time. Str is needed for weight capacity(you can ignore it though). Vit is mainly for tanking. Dex for your main skill’s cast time.

III. BATTLE MODE
Battle mode is a must to be a good pilot of your LK.

IV. PVP & WOE TACT
SinX - You need to put your “DEF” set. Usually the SinX’ tactics in our server is SL-EDP-SB. Well, you should tank their SB. You can Bash some pure SB sinx because they have low vit. After they get stunned, try to BB them or Spiral.
Sniper - Go wear your Garm armor. If they get frosted, go switch to your hunting spear, Hockey, Bapho horns as fast as you can. Enchant your weapon with wind property and go for spiral. If he has his ED on, go try another status armors like stun, sleep, silence. They have low vit tho. For FA typ sniper, never tried dueling one.
Professor - Tough one to handle. Wear your Valkyrie Shield, ED armor. Use your Hiding skills wisely. Try to frost and spiral them or BB. Use your crainial Shield.
Whitesmith - Just make “asar” them. Spear Stab status them. In WOE, dont face them without FCP (Full Chemical Protection). Hard to beat one if you both have pots.
Paladin - Just tank their sacri. They’ll hurt themselves. Wear ur -demihuman set. For RS, it’s just a matter of pots. The one who carries more, is the one who will win.
Stalker - Don’t mess with them without FCP. Try to provoke them if they aren’t BB type. BB and Spiral them. In WOE, they are not too big of a problem. If you see a stalker casting “Emergency Call”, try to stop it by using provoke or spear stab.
Champion - “USE YOUR HIDE CLIP TO THE MAX”. Most Champs who has fast cast, has low damage. Slow cast = high or super high damage OR HIDE. To hide from ruwach, try to walk away from ruwach and hide.
WOE
- in emp breaking, don’t just THQ-berserkPOT-ZERK as soon as you see the emp. wait for some time. “Chill” as I always say.
- Use your weapons wisely, in a big mob, BB them using status weapons or pvp weapons. Better if you use status ones.
V. OVERVIEW
LKs are the best tankers in terms of HP. Use your mind in every single situation. Don’t use one skill. Use all the skills which are useful.
